Candy Blank is a tattoo artist based in Berlin. She moved there in 2017 after her studies in percussion instruments at the conservatory, a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a diploma in sound design. After some initial freelance experiences as a designer in Amsterdam, she understood that her true passion was the art of tattoos. Self-taught, she started to develop her own style from the very beginning.

Candy has lived in many different parts of Berlin, embraced its inclusive club culture and created her own creative universe, even despite a serious auto-immune disease that affected her skin some years ago and has to be treated on a daily basis. She managed to embody her freedom manifesto: regardless of psoriasis, she began to “exchange” her tattoos with other artists all around the world. She could now be seen as a living piece of art.
